My nephew and his wife just recently had their second daughter. They named her Charlotte. I see a trend in alot of the much older names as when my parents were born in the early 40's making a huge comeback.

I don't see Ida, Dolores or Theresa. lol

We recently welcomed Branwen (variant of Bronwyn) to our family. Why does the younger generation of parents seek the most unusual names possible?

Jack is my 2 yr old boy's name. Kendal is my 11 yr old GIRL'S name. :) I do love the name Finn! So cool!

My husband and I chose old fashioned names ~ Daphne and Emma.  Wanted my kids to have unusual names but not odd.

I think Audra is a nice name depending on the last name it goes with. I regret not naming my daughter that.

We welcomed a daughter Avery 17 months ago, but I fought so hard to name her Harper. Obviously, I lost, and although Avery has become somewhat trendy, I do still love it, and it seems to fit her. So I have Avery Mae Violet instead of Harper Grace.
