Costumes are also way overpriced for the cheap way that most I have seen are made. Plus they are only used one time.

Halloween is a great excuse for conservative mommies to let lose and show they have a sexy side too!

I don't think that the problem is necessarrily that they are "sexy, inappropriate and offensive," but lots of us live in Wyoming, Colorado,

Its upsetting when all you can find are short and racy.. I mean why show all of yourself like that? Not all teens want to be gross like tha

I don't mind sexy options, but this is ridiculous. 80% of the Halloween store is sexy costumes. Some of us must work in G-rated settings!

Also, While looking for something for myself, I found plenty of conservative outfits for women and young girls. I agree some of the young girls are what I would not get for my own child but I don't think most are shorter than say... wearing a cheerleader outfit.

I don't think that the problem is necessarrily that they are "sexy, inappropriate and offensive," but lots of us live in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah... states where it inevitably snows or is 20 degrees top on Halloween night. We need costumes that work well with coats and boots!

For my daughter, I just buy a larger size to get the length, and take in the sides.

Why pay $30.oo or $50.oo for store bought costumes anyways? How about you make your costume?Quality time with the kids and a feeling of accomplishment you wont get from going to the mall and picking up a pre-made costume. Plus you can use this as a time to teach your children how to sew, build and craft.

Here's a tip when searching for conservative Halloween costumes-

Go online to Amazon or eBay and type "Halloween costume -sexy" (yes, with the hyphen right in front of the word sexy) in the search box. It won't completely eliminate the skank, but it will cut down on it a great deal.
